Latex free
Kinesio Balance Tape is latex free.
Instead of latex, we blend the cotton fibres with Urethane (plastic), which is more expensive and slightly less elastic.
Latex is a natural rubber which is obtained by tapping the sap from rubber trees, Hevea brasiliensis.
Approximately 1 - % of the population is allergic to Latex.
The longer a person is exposed to Latex, the greater the chance of developing an allergy. It is therefore we chose Urethane instead of Latex.
Non-toxic
The adhesive in Kinesio Balance Tape is non-toxic.
The binding ingredient is a non-toxic vegetable product called Termosol, which is a part of the terpene class.
There is in west medicine no physical or chemical difference between the colors.
The colors were developed in cooperation with the traditional color therapy.
The skin-colored tape was developed to be less noticeable, the black because of public demand.
